Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to have to be good with numbers to improve my relationship with money?
No, not at all – in fact, our programs are designed for all women, irrespective of how much knowledge you have about money, how good you are at math or how much money you have in the bank! We all have money right? So it’s very important that we ALL learn how to use money in a way which supports us in our lives. At The mindful wealth movement, we believe in a creative exploration of all things money-related so we certainly aren’t a “typical” money learning program!
I’m creative – are you sure this isn’t going to be boring?
Hey – that’s awesome, because I’m creative too! My purpose is to help other creative women on their journey to mindful wealth! Learning about money doesn’t have to be boring. In fact I’ve made it my mission to make learning about money a fun, beautiful and creative process.
How is The mindful wealth movement different from other money programs?
In my experience, most traditional money programs take a left-brain approach to teaching you how to manage money. Think numbers, spreadsheets, technical skills and tools. UGH – BORING!
Whilst these all have a part in our learning journey to managing money well, they are only half of the equation. In order to find balance and be able to fully integrate wealth and money management principles into our lives we also need to take a more right brain approach. Not only does this make learning practical and relevant but more creative and fun too!
What’s the deal with the journey profiles?
Research shows that there are many different preferences and ways in which we learn, process information, make decisions and set goals when it comes to our money. A one-size fits all learning pathway won’t work for everyone. We designed the journey profile quiz to help you find a pathway that would be more suited to your individual style and preferences and would help us deliver information to members like you in a way which you can better understand, connect with and retain.
These journey profiles are just a guide – kind of like a suggested route for you to take on your mindful wealth journey. You’re welcome to follow this path, or take a completely different path. Remember that this journey is your own and you are welcome to explore it however best suits you.
Why should we learn from you?
I’m a financial adviser with over 16 years experience in the Australian Financial Services industry. I work with women to help them create healthier relationships with money and wealth, set goals and start working towards their dreams and create more wealth, health and happiness in their lives. As a yoga teacher, my approach to teaching and communicating about money is unique. I combine the philosophies of flow, yoga and mindfulness with personal finance and sustainability concepts. I’d love to be your guide you on your journey to mindful wealth and help you to take control of your future financial wellbeing, wealth and happiness.
What type of commitment do I need to make?
On this journey, all I ask is for your honesty and your commitment to taking positive steps towards financial well-being. We’ll take a good look at where you are now and make a path for the future so in order to get the most out of this program, you’ll need to be open about your money story, your journey so far and your dreams for the future. How little or long you decide to spend on the content will be completely up to you.
Can I complete the course faster than 6 weeks?
We’ve designed the content to be delivered to you over the course of 6 weeks. Each week you’ll receive a new topic and given time and space to learn and digest the materials, watch the videos, use the affirmations and do the activities. Each week we have a lot to cover, so to ensure you get the most out of what we are trying to teach you, we encourage you not to rush. However, if you have a lot of time to dedicate to your mindful wealth journey right now, then by all means contact us to discuss gaining access to the material at a faster pace.
